Chapter 1
Benny took a look at himself in the mirror and adjusted his tie according. It was an important day today, an important function he had to attend. He took one final look at himself and whispered "Let's go!" He was all ready for the event, all ready for maybe something else besides the party. He took his coat from the hanger and proceeded downstairs to where his car was. He got himself into the car and turned on the music to relax and he slotted his keys and the car started to move.
Meanwhile, just a few blocks away, Benny's friend and colleague, Han was also preparing himself to go to the party. However, he was feeling different. He was not as excited about the whole event as Benny and Han still seemed as cool as ever. At work, he was clearly better than Benny as he was more level headed but some people felt he was too unfeeling and cold. He was touted as the winner of between the two for the post of the manager although both of them were in different departments. He was a confident man, a handsome young man too. He made his way to the company's main building too.
At the car park, the two of them had so much the same fate of meeting one another at the lobby. They greeted one another and did not say much to one another. Their eyes crossed one another as the lift beeped 27th floor. The lift door slowly opened as the scene of the ballroom slowly filled their eyes. It was quite a grand event. They slowly took a walk into the room and both of them split up, seeming to be searching for something or maybe someone.
It was December 31st 2004, the last day of 2004. Everyone of the NY Technological Centre was gathered at their main building for a New Year celebration and countdown event. That was also the place where Han and Benny were working at, one of the more promising companies in Singapore. The two of them was walking around the ballroom looking for one of the colleagues too. After a short while, both their pairs of eyes had converged on her.
She was a young and promising young lady too. Unlike the two of them, she was not a local but a foreigner. However, she had lived in Singapore for quite a number of years before as she had studied here before. She was dressed in a beautiful black night gown and was having a glass of cocktail together with her fellow colleague and fellow countrymen from the same department.
"Anh Trai (refer to Chuyen Anh Trai va Em Gai), no partner today?" She giggled.
"Your two suitors not here right, that's why you are so free to talk to me!" He teased her back.
She was at a loss of words to refute Anh Trai. At this moment, Anh Trai saw that the two persons he had just talked about were already on their way over. He just felt a sense of darkness falling on him. "Hey, here they come" he whispered the words to Heat Gal as he started to walk off too. Han reached Heat Gal first and greeted her. Benny reached a moment later and the three of them looked at one another. Heat Gal just said "Let's just enjoy the party for now... I will give both of you the answer tonight!" Han took the chance and asked Heat Gal for a dance and she graciously accepted. The both of them proceeded to the dance floor while Benny looked on, slightly dejected. He felt that maybe he did not have a chance after all. Gulping down the glass of wine, he proceeded to the rooftop of the commercial building.
On top of the skyscraper, he looked at the night sky and the wind blew on his face. He felt calm and relaxed. Time was ticking away slowly but it would soon be 2005. The new year would arrive, together with the answer. He vividly remembered the day three months ago when the three of them had a talk at this same place as all of them had a talk to settle the things between them. Actually, both of them had liked Heat Gal for a long time. However, they did not know her answer. They were confused. The three of them were in a deadlock. Heat Gal said that she would give them an answer on the first day of 2005, three months later. Meanwhile, she hoped they would continue to be normal in their everyday life. 3 months had passed just like that and the day was today. He took a sip from the glass of vodka as he turned around. At this moment, Han came up to the rooftop too. He was a bit surprised to see Benny already there. He walked besides Benny and stood beside him facing the opposite direction and said "I guess we will know the answer today. No hard feelings." Benny replied "Nope! Anyway who is she with now?" "She is just with the other colleagues and coming up soon." Both looked at the watch anxiously. It was already 11:59 p.m. after the both of them had a light chat. Light steps were heard as the staircase door was opened. It was her.
She looked anxious also as she walked towards the two of them. The two of them had both been very good to her. Whatever decision she worked, she would have to hurt someone. Her legs seemed to become heavier with each step she took which drew her closer to them, which gave less time for her to settle her thoughts too.
Meanwhile, in the party, the emcee had already arrived on the stage. "Everybody get ready! We have 10 more seconds to go!....."
"10..."
Heat Gal pushed open the door to the staircase.
"9..."
Heat Gal walked towards the two step by step.
"8..."
With each pass step, the memories of the both of them flashed through her mind.
"7..."
What decision should she make to be right, to be fair, to be ...?
"6..."
She was just behind them for a few steps.
"5..."
She gave both of them a light tap on their backs.

Both Benny and Han's hearts froze as they had waited ...

Benny and Han began to turn around but both of them slipped on the wet floor.

The both of them managed to grab onto one another but were unbalanced as they flipped out towards the dark blue night sky.

Heat Gal grasped in shock as the two of them flipped over and were about to plunge to their death.

Chapter 2
The atmosphere in the ballroom was happy and jovial as everyone awaited the final moment. As the emcee shouted the word "Zero", champagne was popped and everyone was in a state of frenzy as they shouted and cheered the arrival of the new year. Meanwhile, all across the country, various celebrations were held at different parts of the small island. And all at that exact moment, there was a state of celebration and even at one celebration area, thousands of balloons were let loose into the sky. The scene was amazing and breathtaking as the many different colored balloons floated against the dark backdrop of the sky.
However, the situation was totally different just a few storeys above the same building. It was an exact contrast. The feelings of anxiety, of fear, of hurt were at the top of the skyscraper. As the clock struck twelve, Benny and Han were grasping for their last minute in the lives as they fell over the roof. In that second, they felt all was lost. They had not gotten their answer. After waiting for so long, was this the end of their story? They struggled as the raised their hands upwards, trying to grab hold of something to hang on. However there was none... All hope was lost at that second as they let the wind control their descent.
As they were about to give up hope, a pair of hands had gotten hold of one of each of their hands. It was Heat Gal. She had rushed forward to try to see if she was able to save them. She thanked God as she managed to grab on to the both of them in the nick of time. The two guys were relieved but within a while, there were mixed feelings in their minds as they looked at Heat Gal.
On this night, the stars had gone into hiding, and the moon remained covered by the cloudy skies. On top of this particular building, in the beginning of this particular new year, this particular girl and her two suitors were stuck in a deadlock. The two guys were dangling from the roof with their support coming from the girl. The night was young and the wind blew towards them, seeming to urge them to come to a decision. The three of them were silent as they looked at one another. They knew in the minds that the situation would not last for long. Heat Gal was a petite young lady. She could not hold on to the two men for long. It was just a matter of time before she had to let go or maybe ...
At this moment, a blue portal was seen behind Heat Gal and two persons walked out from it. The two persons were both dressed in white from head to toe. Both of them were also wearing white coats which the length reached the tip of their shoes. Strangely enough, their eyeballs were both blue in color. The male looked dashing and suave while the female was fair and beautiful. Both of them each had a unique and special pendant dangling from their neck. The male had one which had the shape of a rectangular tube and was of pale blue color. There were also some strange engravings on the pendant though. The female had one shaped like the crescent moon and in the position of a ‘u' pattern. It was crystal white in color. The two ornaments further brought out the distinctive features of the two.
As the two stepped out of the portal, they immediately saw the scene that was happening in front of them. "Troi! (Oh my god), how exciting can it get? Troi! Troi! Troi! How did it become like this?" as the male spoke to the female. They walked up closer to take a look at the three main characters. The bizarre and odd thing was that it seemed that Heat Gal, Benny as well as Han could not see the two white clad persons. The male looked at the three respectively with a funny yet interesting look. The female remained as neutral and her face was expressionless.
"Bat Nguyet (Bayue), does this look interesting?" She remained silent. "Hmm... I am so curious about what will happen to them! The suspense is killing me! Help me check the Thien Thu (Sky Book) and don't tell me the answer just yet!" The male seemed to be trying to instill the curiosity and excitement into Bat Nguyet. Bat Nguyet took a step back as she slowly raised her hands up into the air in a spiral fashion. As she did so, a lot of strange looking characters begin to encircle her and rose into the air. A magical book floated slowly down into her hands with a flicker of magic dust in the air. She chanted a little prayer as the book slowly rose into the air again and the pages started to flip open to a certain page and stopped. Characters flew out of the Thien Thu as it slowly revolved around her. Her eyes took a look across at the moving characters before they flew back into the book and back into the palm of her hand. She lowered her arm as Thien Thu disappeared into the thin air.
"Let's see if I can guess what is going to happen correctly!"
"I don't think we should be involved, Keeper..."
"You are always so uptight about things, Bat Nguyet. Don't be so unfeeling and feel together with them. Maybe you will learn some things."
"..."
Meanwhile, Heat Gal was already very exhausted from holding on the two guys who had a total weight of more than twice her own. Drops of sweat were seen on her face as she held on tightly to the two guys. Benny and Han did not know what to think of what was about to happen next. They did not want her to fall together with him.
"I have told both of you to slim down and diet right! Why didn't you two listen to me?" She said with a weak smile.
"I am fatter! Let me go!" (Benny)
"You must let go or else you will die also!" (Han)
"I will never let go" she struggled to say.
"If you never liked me, you should let me go, let go of my hand Heat Gal! Let go!" Benny said finally. His eyes looked a bit red as he finished saying his words. Han looked at him. He did not know what to think of his friend, his colleague and also his rival. Benny did not know how come he blurted out the sentence. He felt a sense of insecurity. He was not confident. He wanted to save her. He wanted to... The sentence came. However, it did not change anything. He hoped that by saying something hurtful, she would give up on him.
The moment finally came where Heat Gal could not hold on any longer. However, she did not let go of either hand. Slowly, the three of them fell from the building. The two figures in white watched as Heat Gal fell over.
"There is no time to lose, Bat Nguyet! Let's go! I think the exciting part might be coming up!!"
Before Bat Nguyet could reply, Destiny Keeper already grabbed her hand as both of them ran towards the edge of the building and leapt off behind the three of them. Like the other three before them, the two figures had jumped off the building in pursuit of them ...
Synopsis

Chapter 3
What a wonderful feeling it was to be able to hold my dream girl's hand under the night sky! We swayed from left to right, like strolling down the street. That instantaneous moment was itched in my mind forever. Our hands were held tightly together as if we were never going to be apart. I looked into her eyes while she looked into mine. I saw the determination in her eyes which took away the fear in me. I had never felt such a feeling before. Was it really love? Was I the happiest person in the world? But how would I feel when I realized that she was also holding her other hand with another man? That man was my friend and also my colleague. He was better in me in many ways. I firmly believed at the moment that she wanted to let me go no matter how tightly she held on to my hand...
I was waiting for the answer of my life. I felt that I had a better chance. I was confident but who would have thought the three of us would be stuck in that situation. I knew that she could not just let any of us go. It was just not right. I was shocked at his words. He was noble in his own right. Maybe I would not have the courage to say such words. However, I did not want to drag her down. Would I be happy if she really let him go? What would happen if she let me go instead? At least at this moment, no one will know the outcome. Only time will have the answer....
I was taken aback when I saw them falling. My mind was in a whirl but my body pushed me forward to catch them. I was very glad that I managed to save them in time. I tried my best to grab hold of them. However, when they looked at me in the eyes, I remembered that I had a decision to make. But I knew that I owed each of them a lot. No matter whom I chose, one was going to get hurt. I knew I was in danger. But that was what I should do. Is there anything I should say to them? I don't know if we were going to survive. But for now, at least, I don't need to give anyone a definite answer. I just hope that all three of us would be safe at the end of this ordeal.
I just stepped out of the portal with my assistant when I saw such an interesting scene. It was special to me! A lady was trying to save two men's lives by holding on to them to prevent them from falling. It would be much more normal if a man was holding on to two ladies instead. This really spurred my interest on human beings. I was very curious and wanted to find out more. I knew that more things were going to happen soon as she was not going to hold on any longer. I had already decided. I knew Bat Nguyet would disagree with me again. Sigh! But I am still going to do what I think is right. She would have to follow.
I saw the curious look in Troi Xanh's (Lan Tian) eyes and I knew he was going to get into more trouble. It was our first time coming down. I was not interested in anything but just to finish the tour quick. I hope I can dissuade him from doing what he wanted to do and go back soon ...
Benny, Han and Heat Gal held on tightly to one another as they fell from the building. They knew that it was going to be the end. Benny and Han both decided to tell the three words to her as it might well be their last chance. However, Heat Gal had already fainted from all the shock and was unconscious. Meanwhile, Destiny Keeper and his assistant were falling too just beside the three of them looking at everything that was happening. He could feel that the love between the three of them was true and real enough. He felt he had to do something. Bat Nguyet was observing Destiny Keeper all the time and knew exactly what he was thinking about.
"We are not supposed to intervene with their fate! We are the keepers..."
"We have to save them at least... Their lives were not supposed to end now..."
Destiny Keeper waved his hand before the two white figures plunged faster downwards and disappeared again. At this moment, the huge air balloons located at the countdown party near the building mysteriously started to fly upwards towards the three. The spiraling wind brought the three of them apart as each landed on a huge air balloon each. Benny and Han were knocked unconscious as they hit the air balloon while Heat Gal was cushioned lightly on the last air balloon. After their passengers were on board, the balloons started to descend slowly onto the crowded walkways below. The security and safety personnel stationed at the celebration noticed that there were people on the balloons and immediately responded to the situation. The three of them were sent to the hospital straight away. The irony was that they were sent individually to three separate hospitals.
Among the three, Han was the first to wake up. He took a look at his surroundings as he had slightly forgotten what had happened a while ago. After a short while, all his memories had come back and he was worried for Heat Gal and searched frantically for her. However, he discovered that neither Benny nor Heat Gal was in the same hospital. Against the wishes of the doctor, he made his own decision and stealthily made his way out of the hospital although he was supposed to stay in order for the doctor to monitor his situation.
Once outside, he made his way to the various hospitals trying to find Heat Gal and Benny. After quite some time, he had finally found them. However, Heat Gal was still in a coma state. She had not woken from her "sleep" yet. Han stayed by her side as she continued sleeping. After a while, he was so tired that he dozed off, laying his head on Heat Gal's body.
Meanwhile, Benny's situation was not looking good too. He was in a coma state similar to Heat Gal's. However, he was having some other complications too. His state was quite critical. Due to the fact that the hospital he was staying in was of a smaller scale, he had to be sent to a larger hospital to be treated. At this point of time, the police had finally found the person they were looking for – Han. He was awoken from his nap and was asked to assist in the investigations of how and why did the three of them came on top of the hot air balloon. The police had wanted to question them when they were awake but Han had already run away from his ward while the other two was still unconscious. Hearing the news of Benny from the police, Han was worried for Benny too. He was brought back to the station for questioning.
As he left, Heat Gal's condition turned critical and was prepared for operation. The doctor finished wearing his gloves and went into the operation theatre. He had to operate on two patients at the same time as they had the same symptoms and he was the only specialist available at that time. He took up his equipment and prepared himself. His two patients were actually Benny and Heat Gal...

Chapter 4
Destiny Keeper walked towards the big house with Bat Nguyet following him behind. Destiny Keeper pushed open the door and quickly moved in and dropped down on the huge sofa in the living room, feeling relaxed and at home.
"Finally! A rest after a long night!" Destiny Keeper smiled to himself.
"Was that love, Keeper?" asked Bat Nguyet shyly.
"Ah... I see that you are getting interested, Bat Nguyet!"
"Nothing of the sort, Keeper! I just wanted to know so that it would be useful in our tour here."
"Still trying to deny?"
"I will go back to my room now."
"Wait! Hmmm... Since you asked this question, why not you get their past videotapes out, we could take a look at the events that happened earlier to them. Maybe we can understand more."
"I don't think we should get involved much further, Keeper. We had already done enough."
"It's just a look, Bat Nguyet. There is no harm done."
Bat Nguyet did not wish to argue much further and she followed Destiny Keeper's instructions. She walked into the storage room while Destiny Keeper remained on the sofa. "It seemed that she is beginning to change. Just a day and that scene was already beginning to change her. Maybe she will be more feeling from now on. A walk in the mortal world maybe really do wonders to people maybe even to gods like us..!" Destiny Keeper thought to himself. Bat Nguyet opened the large door and walked inside seeing huge shelves containing clearly labeled videotapes. The sight was amazing. There were so many rows of tapes and it seemed that it would never end. Bat Nguyet whispered a few words as her body glowed with a blue light as she moved slowly towards the video tapes that she was looking for. As she slowly walked deeper into the room, video tapes seemed to be magically appearing at the front end of the shelves. These were actually the tapes of the various people in the world whom their history was recorded as time flew by. As Bat Nguyet was reaching the tapes that she needed, she felt a strange feeling. The blue light disappeared from around her and she felt weak. After a short pause, she realized what was happening to her. It was her sickness. She dragged herself to the door and called out to Destiny Keeper.
Destiny Keeper turned his head around and was shocked to find that Bat Nguyet was collapsing. He rushed to her side swiftly and held her up as Bat Nguyet's face turned pale. "What is happening, Bat Nguyet?" Destiny Keeper asked anxiously, worried about his disciple. With her remaining energy, Bat Nguyet whispered something into Destiny Keeper's ears. Upon hearing the few words, Destiny Keeper was stunned. He began to remember the words of his teacher when he told him about Bat Nguyet's condition. "That means both of them are in danger! I should have realized that earlier." Destiny Keeper thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Heat Gal woke up and found herself lying in the midst of a DESERT! She was taken aback by her surroundings. "Where am I? Why am I here?? What is happening??" she thought to herself. She was getting nervous and anxious. She tried her best to think of what had happened earlier but she did not remember anything. She started to move around this huge desert. Her foot steps sunk in the sand as she took each step cautiously, unable to figure out where she was heading. After walking for some time, she saw another person in the distance and began to wonder whether her eyes were playing tricks on her. It was not a mirage and in the north direction, there was indeed someone. She steadily walked towards the figure and found that it was Benny. She was delighted to see someone she knew. On the other hand, Benny was equally surprised to find that Heat Gal was in this huge desert too.
The two of them ran towards one another and finally were just beside one another. They had many questions on their minds and started questioning one another. However, they did not know how did they got here in the first place and why they were here. In the end, they decided that they should try and find their own out of here. It was a very strange place. Although it was a desert, they did not feel hot although the sun was shining brightly. They did not feel hungry or thirsty. After resting for a while, Benny took Heat Gal's hand and said "We should go now!"
After aimlessly walking for another hour or so, they could not find anything still. They were about to give up when they heard the sound of chimes and bells. "That was the same sound that had woken them up!" they thought to themselves.
"Let's follow the source of the sound!" Benny said with renewed hope.
"Uhm!" Heat Gal agreed readily.
The two began walking again towards the source of the sound. After some time, the sound was finally getting nearer and nearer. They discovered that unknowingly, they had already reached the borders of the desert. What lied ahead was an exact opposite, it was an area which was cooling and slightly cold. The lake in the far corner was already frozen up. The land looked slightly moist and icy but not as freezing as in the North Pole. The vastness and emptiness of these two places were broken by the shape of a large tree in the middle of the frozen lake. The tree seemed to have a strange pulling effect on the two as they walked towards it, seemingly to find an answer out of everything.
The two walked across the frozen lake and finally reached their destination. The tree was barren and old. At this time, the chimes and bells seemed to have gone away. They stood there looking at the tree and were absorbed in it. Suddenly, the both of them felt a headache and scenes began to flash in their minds. Heat Gal was dressed in an ancient red long dress and Benny was dressed in some ancient costume too. They were there together with a lot of other people. The tree was blooming with light pink flowers and everyone looked happy and celebrating. In the corner, children were dancing and they could also see that the musicians were exactly playing the same chimes and bells music with their instrument. The both of them stood under the tree and watched as the sun set in the distance. It was such a happy occasion. It seemed like the people were celebrating a happy occasion or having a ceremony of some sort. The images stopped in their minds for a while. Benny took a look at Heat Gal and from the look on her face he knew that they were seeing the same things. Their minds were totally blank as they did not know what those images were. The images started to flow once again as images of the ancient Benny and Heat Gal being together was flashed across them. Only important images flashed as everything seemed to fast forward towards the celebration scene that they had just seen. However, as the sun began to set, Benny and Heat Gal felt a sense of sorrow and danger. Suddenly, everything turned pitch black...

Chapter 5
P.Wen and her twin sister, H.Wen was sleeping in their room when the telephone rang in the wee hours of the morning. Meanwhile, across the hall, some of the other telephone began to ring one by one. Here was the hostel of NY Technological centre where all the overseas workers stayed. Most of them had come back not long ago after the countdown party at the main building and were resting in bed. P.Wen reluctantly picked up the phone and was shocked to hear that her friend was in hospital under going a critical operation. She quickly woke her twin sister up and proceeded down the hall, knocking on the other familiar doors.
The few of them gathered and immediately rushed their way to the hospital. Han had called them and informed them of the situation but he was still stuck at the police station as they were still interrogating him. H.Wen, P.Wen, Franky and Cat Gal took a cab to the destination and all of them were worried. Upon reaching the hospital, they ran in and asked for directions. Finally, they took the lift up and were out at the operation room. However, the "Operation in progress" light was still on as they decided to wait outside. As they finally had time to rest and think, they began to wonder what had happened to Heat Gal, Han and Benny. P.Wen started to argue with H.Wen again.
"Benny is the best! Heat Gal should choose him lah!" P.Wen started to say.
"Nope. I think Han is better! Heat Gal loves him more!" H.Wen replied.
"Actually I am Heat Gal's favourite!" Franky said jokingly, trying to lighten up the atmosphere.
The three began to talk about their views and were guessing about many things. It was ironic that the twins were actually supporting the two different guys. They even had a little bet some time ago when everyone began to notice the relationship between the three of them. Cat Gal sat quietly in a corner, still worried for her good friend. After a short while, the president of the committee of foreign workers for NY Technological Centre, TL and his girlfriend Linda arrived at the scene too. The six of them waited patiently into the morning as the operation dragged on.
On the other hand, in the operation theatre, the operation was getting tougher and tougher. The cardio machine started to have a change in its pattern, showing that the patients were slowly and steadily losing their heart beat.
"Sir! Both of their situations are turning critical."
"Scalpel...." The doctor passed on the instructions as beats of sweat rolled down his forehead. It was unlucky that he had to perform two operations simultaneously as he was the only specialist at that time. However, he could not understand why the patients' health was deteriorating although it should not be. He continued to do his best. Two figures clad in black appeared in the operation room mysteriously. However, the doctors and the nurses in the room did not seem to notice them like they were from another dimension. Each of them were wearing dark shades too as they looked at the two patients.
Back at Destiny Keeper's house, Bat Nguyet struggled to tell Destiny Keeper what was about to happen. Upon hearing Bat Nguyet's words, Destiny Keeper remembered the words of his teacher. He had reminded him that his assistant had a strange illness. However, due to the fact that they were in heaven all the time, she could not have got in contact or triggered her illness. And hence, over time, Destiny Keeper had slowly forgotten about her assistant's condition.
"Death Emissaries arr heeeerre!"
After saying the few words, Bat Nguyet fainted. Destiny Keeper quickly helped Bat Nguyet to the sofa as he transferred his heavenly energy into her. He put her to rest before he left immediately. The words of Bat Nguyet kept ringing in his head. Time was of the essence and he had to quickly go save Heat Gal and Benny.
The hospital lift opened and some patients alighted. Unseen by the human eye, Destiny Keeper stepped out too. He could feel a strange aura surrounding him already. "So they are indeed here" he thought to himself. He moved slowly towards the operation theatre. At the door to the theatre, there stood the two death emissaries looking stern and emotionless.
"What are you doing here?"
"Are both of you taking them back?"
"Please do not disrupt our jobs!"
"Please do not take their lives. I will report this matter later to your lord myself."

Destiny Keeper had issued his challenge. He was determined to save the two's lives. He had not finished his tour or understanding of human's destiny yet. The Death Emissaries were obstinate and did not believe his words too. Maybe it was all part of procedure. Destiny Keeper had no choice but to use force. The Death Emissaries were ready to prevent anyone from disrupting their jobs and messing with life and death. A fight was inevitable. Destiny Keeper's eyes turned brilliant blue as an aura began to emit from him. The Death Emissaries were no push-overs too. At this moment, a strange gust of cold wind blew towards the six friends who were just beside the emissaries and Destiny Keeper but just that they did not realize. P.Wen prayed that God would save Heat Gal and Benny.
Destiny Keeper and the two emissaries floated up to the rooftop of the hospital where the fight began. The emissaries split their figures into multiple beings as they surrounded Destiny Keeper. All of them moved towards him and each of them released punches and kicks. The fight was intense and Destiny Keeper had underestimated his opponents as they could hold him for a few rounds. The fight gradually increased to a test of speed as the emissaries were clearly no match for Destiny Keeper in terms of force. Flashes of each figure could only be seen as the match continued on.
Bat Nguyet regained consciousness and felt that she had regained some of her energy. She knew that Destiny Keeper must have helped and as she walked slowly towards the door. She knew where he had gone to and wanted to go there to help him as well. She was not sure of the situation but hoped she could prevent any other mishap that would happen. She arrived at the hospital soon and discovered that Heat Gal and Benny were still in the operation theatre and Destiny Keeper was nowhere to be seen. She felt the movement of energies and knew that they were at the top fighting. She rushed to the rooftop and pushed open the door. At this moment, she saw that Destiny Keeper had kicked his two opponents to the ground. In this instant, he summoned his Destiny Bow! "Destiny Arrow!" he began to say. A transparent arrow began to form at the tip of the bow. Bat Nguyet wanted to tell Destiny Keeper to stop but it was too late. The arrow was released and flew towards one of the emissaries. Another arrow hit Destiny Arrow as both arrows disappeared into the air. A lady clad in a similar white costume glided down at the edge of the roof.
Bat Nguyet and Destiny Keeper turned around and saw...
Both of them looked in awe and said "Keeper of ....."

Chapter 6
"Master, you have summoned me?"
"Ah yes! Thu Tho (Autumn Poem), it is time for you to take the final path towards being the keeper."
"This is the final test for you and you should travel to the mortal realm and find Destiny Keeper."
"Aid him and also find the meaning of your true path. When you come back again, you will become the Keeper of Love."
"Go now!"
The Keeper of Love had sent her assistant Thu Tho to the mortal realm to learn before she would succeed her. Thu Tho obeyed her master's instructions and began preparations for her journey. Troi Xanh was her childhood playmate. Although they were trained under different masters, they were very good friends just like their masters were. However, when they were older, they were separated and brought to the palace of Love and palace of Destiny respectively where they continued to serve and prepare for the day that they will become the Keepers themselves. Troi Xanh became the Destiny Keeper after his master mysteriously passed on his place while Thu Tho continued to be the assistant. It had been a long time since she had met Troi Xanh and this journey would be rewarding. She would be able to see Troi Xanh after such a long time and he would be very surprised too. Although Troi Xanh was the Keeper now, he was still a very inexperienced Keeper.
"Oh... wait... Take with you, the weapon of the Keeper of Love. The world is not what it seems Thu Tho..."
"Take the Bow of Love!"
"Thank you master!"
Thu Tho wondered the reason for passing her the weapon of the Keeper when she was still not the Keeper yet. But she did not question her master's motives and took it and left. As Thu Tho left the throne room, the former Destiny Keeper (Troi Xanh's master) appeared.
"Sending her away already?" he sighed after he said the words.
"It is their destiny... We can't change anything right... They are the ones that will change everything..." Keeper of Love replied.
"Was that really helping them or did we send them to their doom instead?" Former Destiny Keeper continued to sigh.
"Let's go then... It is time for us to do our parts too..." Keeper of Love said.
Troi Xanh took a look at the mysterious assailant carefully and memories of the past began to float in his mind. It was really Thu Tho! It was the first time he had seen her after such a long time. Troi Xanh went over to help support Bat Nguyet as both of them walked towards her. Thu Tho asked the Death Emissaries to leave as she jumped down from the ledge and walked towards Troi Xanh too. Troi Xanh introduced Thu Tho to his assistant and a lot of questions came to his mind too.
"You shouldn't have injured the Death Emissaries like that..."
"I didn't think so much back then..."
"Why are you here in the mortal realm?"
"My master asked me to come down and learn and also aid you in your journey..."
"Ah... It's been such a long time... Anyway I came across an interesting ...." Troi Xanh began to talk about the interesting things that he had seen when he first arrived with Bat Nguyet. He had forgotten that Bat Nguyet was injured already. He was interrupted halfway by Thu Tho and the three of them decided to go back to Destiny Keeper's hiding place as they further discussed and catch back on old times. Troi Xanh attended to Bat Nguyet's injuries immediately. Thu Tho waited for Troi Xanh to finish with Bat Nguyet before the three of them gathered in the hall. He went on to talk about the various things that had happened to them once they had reached the mortal realm. Thu Tho did not comment much on the matter. Troi Xanh invited Thu Tho to stay together with them in this place but she refused. She had other matters to take care of and bided farewell to Troi Xanh and Bat Nguyet. Troi Xanh looked disappointed as the back view of Thu Tho slowly disappeared from his view.
Meanwhile, in the hospital, the "Operation in Progress" light dimmed and the doctor pushed open the door of the surgery room, taking off his face mask. Cat gal was the first to ask the doctor if Heat Gal was alright. The doctor explained the situation to them as the others listened on. All were relieved that Heat Gal was alright and the condition had stabilized. They saw that Heat Gal was being pushed out of the surgery room soon after. But surprisingly, they saw that Benny was also being pushed out of the room too in the opposite direction. They looked at one another in bewilderment as they did not know what was going on. They proceeded to do the documents needed for the admission of Heat Gal before all of them went home, still thinking what had exactly happened.
"Bat Nguyet, you have just been injured, put down your work for a moment and enjoy a movie with me!" Troi Xanh said to Bat Nguyet after he saw her waking up after her rest.
Destiny Keeper pushed Bat Nguyet out of bed and pushed her onto the sofa and made sure that she was comfortable. He told her to stay still for a moment and he would be right back. He went to the bar counter in the house and a round and bubbly little genie appeared behind the counter. "What would you like, sir?" "A large popcorn set... Sweet not salted together with an extra cup of large Coke. Thanks!" The little genie magically produced the order and handed it to Destiny Keeper. He brought the order back to Bat Nguyet and sat down beside her, handing her the drink. "Time for a late night movie!" he giggled. With a light double tap on his palms, the lights closed automatically as the huge screen slowly came down from the top. After the countdown, the movie began to start....
It was about the beginnings of Heat Gal, Benny and Han....
*Note: There are movies in the Heaven Realm too! – All the movies are all the real life incidents that happen to any one of us! Who says there is no entertainment in the Heaven realm. :P
**For Your Info: Movies had always been the favourite pastime of Destiny Keepers because they are the keepers of fate.

Chapter 7
The show finally ended around 2 hours in the mortal realm and Destiny Keeper began to understand more about the beginnings of Heat Gal, Benny and Han. When they first entered the company, they were separated to the same group and from there, they had known one another and gradually the three of them were in the triangle that they were in now. However, Destiny Keeper had a strange feeling when he finished the show. Looking at the current situation now, he felt that Han did not seem like one of the main characters in this story. It was just his intuition. His interest in this story began to grow more and more as the more knowledge of the three increased. But he was more focused on Heat Gal and Benny. Destiny Keeper looked at Bat Nguyet and he realized that she had begun to develop some interest too. However, he did not know what she was beginning to take interest in. Bat Nguyet returned to her room after the "movie" while Destiny Keeper continued to think of what to do next. The excitement was really building up in him and due to his curious nature, he decided to see the final answer for himself first.
Destiny Keeper went back to his room and slowly closed his eyes. Strange looking characters started to spiral up his whole body as he stood still and began to float upwards. At this moment, the magical Thien Thu began to appear and his eyes opened. The book began to flip to a certain page and stopped. But unlike the other time, no words flew out of the book. The page was a blank! "How could this be?" Destiny Keeper wondered to himself strangely. He pondered on what went wrong but decided to give it a try again. After numerous tries, the result he got was still the same. Was something wrong with Thien Thu? He walked over to Bat Nguyet's room and asked her to try to get a reading. Bat Nguyet got the same result also. This made the pair puzzled. They decided to test the book and tried various other readings. The book did not seem to malfunction. He wanted to ask his former master about the reading but he was nowhere to be found. This incident further strengthened Destiny Keeper's resolve in finding out more about the Heat Gal and Benny. He decided to meet them and see what he could find out.
Meanwhile back in the hospital, P.Wen, H.Wen, Franky and Cat Gal were relieved to know that Heat Gal and Benny were safe. Soon after, the two were discharged and everything was back to normal. However, it seemed that after the incident, Han had decided to give up on Heat Gal. Although he did not say it out but he was going around less with her. None of them dared to ask the question of whom she would choose and they just remained as friends for the time being. Life was back to normal for them.
One evening as Heat Gal was walking back the same road back home, she noticed something special along the side. It had a magical alluring effect on her which grabbed her attention. She walked towards this small booth which was covered with a light white translucent cloth. She walked in and the person inside greeted her, "Sit down. Do you believe in destiny?" Heat Gal had a strange feeling but nevertheless she sat down. She saw two persons in the booth, both dressed in white, the male was sitting down while the female was standing up. They were none other than Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet! Destiny Keeper continued to speak. "Do you mind if I take a reading for you?" Heat Gal nodded her head and for the first time Bat Nguyet saw Destiny Keeper take out his priceless Destiny Tarot Cards to take a reading. Destiny Keeper slowly shuffled the deck of cards and asked Heat Gal to pick three of them out after he spread the whole set on the table. He was using the three level spread normally used in tarot reading which signified the past, the present and the future. Heat Gal carefully took out three cards and placed them apart from the set. "Are you ready?" Destiny Keeper asked. Heat Gal nodded and she followed Destiny Keepers instruction and slowly turned over the first card. It was blank!
*Note: The uniqueness and specialty of the Destiny Tarot cards is that all 56 cards are all blank and identical on both sides. Only the person who is asking about her/his destiny or fortune can see the card magically when it is turned over and Destiny Keeper will interpret the picture seen.
"What do you see" asked Destiny Keeper. "A Wheel" replied Heat Gal. "The Wheel of Destiny!" said Destiny Keeper. She flipped over the second card. She was quite shocked. Subsequently she turned over the last card and she was dumbfounded. Destiny Keeper took a look and was equally shocked. Bat Nguyet, standing beside all this time, took a look and felt bewildered too. "Could something be wrong with the cards?" Destiny Keeper put the 3 cards back into the deck and magically flipped the cards over in a straight row in the air. He took a quick glance and saw that the cards were in order.
*Note: Each card in the Tarot deck is unique. There are 22 Major arcane cards and 56 Minor arcane cards in the deck. Each card is unique and one of the major arcane cards includes the Wheel of Fortune card. But in this case, the special deck of Destiny Keeper names the card Wheel of Destiny as this is the Destiny Tarot Cards Deck.
It was indeed a strange phenomenon. Never in Destiny Keepers life did he encounter that the calculations of his cards went wrong. He did not understand why and repeated the procedure again with Heat Gal. But it was the same thing that happened again. "Sorry, there will be no charge today. I am afraid I cannot help you with your problems." Destiny Keeper regrettably said to Heat Gal. Heat Gal was slightly disappointed as he left the small room and continued to walk back to her home. She did not notice that the room magically disappeared into thin air and that a blue portal opened as Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet entered it and went back to their home.
Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet sat on the sofa and were wondering at the things that happen recently. The Destiny Tarot Deck and Thien Thu were both behaving strangely. Bat Nguyet tried to summon Thien Thu again but this time it was fruitless. It did not appear. Destiny Keeper sat there silently thinking about the problem. He felt that there was definitely something going on and the problem lied with Heat Gal.
"I have decided to investigate this matter thoroughly and you have to help me!"
"What plan do you have sir?"
"Change to human form and get to know the characters directly. Only then will we get to know the source of the problem!"
"......." Bat Nguyet remained silent as she knew she had no choice but to agree with the Keeper. Destiny Keeper stood up and forced out a blue sphere of energy. His clothes started to change and now he looked like a normal human being. The blue energy sphere became smaller and smaller and he finally redirected it into his face. A third eye started to open on his fore head. "Troi oi! You look like a monster" Bat Nguyet exclaimed. "Oh sorry... haha ... error!" Destiny Keeper redirected the energy sphere into his right eye. An additional line began to appear on his eyelid and his eye grew slightly bigger. Formerly, a single eyelid person, now Destiny Keeper had a single eyelid (left) and double eyelid (right) in his human form. Bat Nguyet began her transformation too but chose to hide her energy inside her body, resulting in her fair skin. And once again, they began to set off...
*Note: In human form, demi gods have to conceal their powers from everyone and hence Destiny Keeper chose to enclose all of his powers in his right eye otherwise known as the Eye Of Destiny.
*For Your Info: Next time u see a person with a single eyelid and a double eyelid... he/she might be Destiny Keeper so ... :p

Chapter 8
The manager in charge of the department gathered everyone in the company. Everyone waited in the meeting room waiting for the announcement to be made. Han, Benny and Heat Gal were sitting next to one another and were also eagerly waiting for the news. After a short while, the manager came in and shortly after entered Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet (in human form). The manager introduced them as consultants from an overseas company coming here for learning and training purposes. Heat Gal seemed to recognize them but just could not recall where she had met them although she had just met them yesterday. She shrugged away the thought after a while. After the introduction, the manager got Heat Gal to help Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet get acquainted to the new workplace. Coincidence? Nope. It was already pre-planned all along by Destiny Keeper. It was his plan to get to know Heat Gal better. Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet sat down on the empty seats as the meeting continued after the arrangements were met.
After the meeting, Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet went to the manager's office for further briefing before going to their respective assigned task. As both of them leave the new office, they saw Heat Gal passing by the office, walking towards the pantry. Bat Nguyet smiled at her and Heat Gal returned the greeting. After that, she smiled at Destiny Keeper and Bat Nguyet moved off to find the person she was tasked to: Benny. Heat Gal was all smiles as she decided to show Destiny Keeper around the workplace. She took him to the pantry first as she was about to go there and engaged in a little chit chat with Destiny Keeper. She found that he was a very interesting person with a unique way of speaking. Her interest for him grew as she talked more with him and also her eagerness to remember who he was. Bat Nguyet approached Benny's desk and both of them introduced themselves. Benny was a shy person and did not know what to do with her. It would have been better if he was tasked to a guy instead. The situation was worsened as Bat Nguyet was a relative cold and expressionless person.
The day was soon over and all the people were ready to knock off from work. Everyone was rushing for the lift and coincidentally (again) the two persons who were "knocked" out from this game was Destiny Keeper and Heat Gal. Both of them stood at the lift, waiting for the next one. Destiny Keeper began to speak and gave her his contact number. At this moment, the lift had just reached and Benny and Bat Nguyet just arrived. The four of them entered the lifts and stood in two ends, with Destiny Keeper and Heat Gal in one end and Benny and Bat Nguyet in the other. It was an awkward and silent situation. The lift reached the ground and Heat Gal left quickly. Benny quickly followed behind. Bat Nguyet asked Destiny Keeper: "Why did you do that?" "It's just a test! Don't worry too much about it" There was a playful grin on Destiny Keeper's face. He was about to chase after Heat Gal when suddenly someone he saw stopped him in his tracks. "Keeper of Love" Bat Nguyet exclaimed. Destiny Keeper was astonished that she was also in human form. Keeper of Love did not look particularly happy about the whole situation. Destiny Keeper sensed the unhappiness in her but did not know what he did wrong. "You should not be here at all!" said Thu Tho. Destiny Keeper tried to explain himself but was not given a chance. Thu Tho left shortly after and Destiny Keeper was left wondering what it was all about. After meeting her after such a long time, he did not understand why she was behaving in this way.
Meanwhile on the other hand, Benny chased after Heat Gal and both of them went for a little date. They had always tried to move off at different times to avoid anyone in the office who would notice about them. After the building incident, Heat Gal had unknowingly let Benny into her life. It was a strange and confused feeling but sometimes she did not mind. Benny was still as serious about her as he was in the past. Maybe it was more now. Han had decided to give up already. As for Heat Gal, she was still not sure. However, the feeling of being loved was always blissful. Maybe in her heart, she had unknowingly given Benny a chance, no matter how much she denied in real life. As for Benny, he did not mind whether Heat Gal chose her or not, he was just happy to be in her life. However, he was pretty affected by Destiny Keeper today. A tinge of jealously crept up slowly in him.
Destiny Keeper was behind them all the way and saw all that had happened. Although he was still worrying about what Thu Tho was thinking, he tried not to let it affect his work. He began to slowly understand more and more about love and the different various feelings associated with it. It was happy yet sad and maybe even complex. However, the situation between Benny and Heat Gal seemed to be progressing in a positive way.
"Flight TR328 has landed!" the speakers at the airport came alive as the airplane landed. A handsome young man eagerly took his luggage and prepared to check out of the airport. The holiday was long enough and he had rested well enough. "I have waited so long for her to be in Singapore. Now is my time to shine." He thought. He left the airport and took a look at the familiar surroundings. Being a Vietnamese, he was certainly familiar with the streets of Singapore. He took a look at a piece of paper from his hand as he spoke to the taxi driver of his destination.
Destiny Keeper reached back in his mansion and was fairly tired after the trip today. "It is not easy being a human being too!" he said to himself. He looked around the house for Bat Nguyet but he could not find her. He was separated from her after they left the company together just now. He sat down on the sofa again and took a rest but slowly he began to fall asleep.
A bizarre number of strange images began to fill up Destiny Keeper's mind as he dozed off. "Where are you? I am waiting!" There seemed to be a woman dressed in celestial clothes who was lying on a beautiful field calling out for him. He could not see clearly who she was. Next he saw a person with wings. It was very strange but the wings grew out of him as he watched on. Then, he saw a picture of a cave and at the end of it was a gigantic and powerful arrow. The images next were more confusing as the people in them no longer seemed to be from heaven – neither demi gods nor actual gods. He saw a teenage boy and a teenage girl in a huge shopping fair and saw them meeting within a mass crowd. The words "I am still waiting for you..." continued to echo in his ears as he woke up from his disturbing sleep.
The guy from the airport finally reached his destination and took his luggage and looked up at the huge hostel. He seemed very pleased and looked at the same small slip of paper and slowly walked up the staircase. He knocked on the door and was waiting for the owner to respond. After waiting for a while, there was still no answer. He looked at his phone and decided to call her to give her a surprise. As he was about to call, two persons walked up the small staircase as he looked on. It was her. She was back home! But there was another guy beside her!
Bat Nguyet reached back to the house late and wanted to ask Destiny Keeper some questions. There was a blissful look on her face, something which was never seen before. However, she discovered that Destiny Keeper was fast asleep and Bat Nguyet decided not to disturb him. She went to her room for a while but she did not seem tired at all. She seemed to have unlimited energy in her right now. She felt a bit bored as there was excitement in her eyes. She moved on to the huge library of records and information and began to read. She was flipping through some of the books and suddenly she thought she saw something. She checked the book of all its pages again and saw something interesting....
